Dadu Dadi

 You both met in your teens

You were each other's dreams

The marriage happened soon after
It was celebrated with joy and laughter

Kids then started pouring in
And, thankfully none were a twin

As the years passed
They went out and kissed

You stayed at home
Not allowing them out to roam

All of them got old
They went out and braved the cold

Their lovers came later
Thankfully, none of the girls was a traitor

Their marriages came soon
They made their brides swoon

Everyone went to stay in different places
And none of them ever got any braces

As the first grandchild was born
She was the only one to adorn

The next came after sometime
His arrival was marked with song and rhyme

The other two were quick to come
You sometimes had to clean their bum

The kids got older
The visits became bolder

The meetings were fun
And that is where they learned to run

We all loved you
But sometimes the talks were few

The journey hasn't been pleasant
But it has been much longer than that of a pheasant

Happy 50th Dadu and Dadi
50 years ago was your shadi

It's been a long time
So let's celebrate it like it's your prime

Your 5 times Sia's age
