Ollie
Very recently, at the end of 2020, my cousin got a dog, a beagle to be more specific. He was a tiny little thing and we hoped it would prove a distraction from the events which had recently transpired at their house. All of them loved the dog and after much consideration, he was named Ollie. Ollie was a young and high-spirited fellow. He was gradually adjusting to his house, one where he would reside until the end of his life. In most cases that means 12-14 years, meaning the dog would be there way past my cousin's graduation from school. Alas! That wasn't to be. Only after a few weeks of living in his new house, Ollie contracted the Parvo virus, a virus that attacks the intestines and does not allow the dog to absorb nutrients. Parvovirus has a 91% mortality rate and we all prayed desperately that he would be in that 9%. However, fate is cruel and twisted and Ollie succumbed to the virus on 12th Jan 2021, close to 3 months after his birth. This one is to you little guy!
